Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
DueSoon ("we", "us") is a Google Sheets™ add-on that sends email reminders based on dates in a spreadsheet. This policy explains what data the add-on accesses, how it is used, and your choices. Contact: support.duesoon@gmail.com.
Data the add-on accesses
- The spreadsheet you install it in (scope
spreadsheets.currentonly). DueSoon reads the sheets and columns you configure, to find due dates, recipients and the values used in email templates. It writes one hidden tab ("_DueSoon log") to record which reminders were sent. It cannot access your other files. - Your email address (scope
userinfo.email). Used to show which account sends reminders, and to check whether that address has a paid subscription. - Sending email (scope
script.send_mail). Used only to send the reminder and test emails you configure, from your account, to the recipients you specify. - Triggers (scope
script.scriptapp). Used to run the daily check you schedule. - External requests (scope
script.external_request). Used only to ask our payment processor, Stripe, whether your email address has an active subscription.
Where data is stored
Your rules and settings are stored in the spreadsheet's document properties, and usage counters in your user properties. Both are inside Google's infrastructure and tied to your Google account and the spreadsheet. We do not run our own servers or databases, and spreadsheet contents are never sent to us or to any third party.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your payment details under Stripe's privacy policy. We never see your full card number. To check your plan, the add-on sends only your email address to Stripe.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Google API Services User Data Policy
DueSoon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
To delete everything DueSoon stores: delete the rules in the sidebar, turn off the schedule, delete the "_DueSoon log" tab, and uninstall the add-on from Extensions › Add-ons › Manage add-ons. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your Stripe customer record, email us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
